When you begin any fitness program, getting a good sense of your existing, baseline strengths is really important. This helps you set individual, actionable goals for improvement and track your progress. Our digital assessment tool consists of questions about the most common financial terms and concepts.

Our training formats
Lunch workout every second Friday
Every second Friday we will work out for 40 minutes (between 13:10 CET and 13:50). These sessions are digital, live and highly interactive. The content for each Lunch workout will be driven by a recent event that has been covered in the business media. This will help you put your Core training to immediate use in relevant, real-time scenarios and benefit from hearing and learning from the diverse perspectives of others in the training.


Core training every second month
Core training helps you build up six important financial muscle groups that you always need in order to make sound business decisions.
- Drawing conclusions from financial reports
- Making better investment decisions
- Analyzing and driving profitability
- Simulating how sensitive profit is to changes in price, volume and cost structure
- Evaluating possibilities and risks with growth
- Valuing companies and stocks
We will work out for half a day, every second month. These live digital sessions are highly interactive and will run from 13:00 CET to 16:30. For the 2021 this will be the second Thursday in February, April, June, August, October and December. The regularity helps you build on your core strengths and stay fit.
Exclusive training tool
We have created a database with high quality financial analyses of companies. We have chosen to create our own database since the publicly available products prioritize quantity over quality. Further, we have packaged our analyses in a way that is accessible, pedagogical and graphically appealing. As a gold or platinum member in the Financial Gym you are given access to practice with this exclusive training tool.

The Financial Gym offers something to everyone. The trainings will be at their best when the members have different roles and varying knowledge, since that reflects the reality faced by many membership teams.
Among other things we have discussed a change in IKEA’s business model, the implications of the new accounting standard for leasing, followed the financial crisis in Norwegian Air, evaluated investments in heating systems, quantified the effects of Louis Vuitton’s acquisition of Tiffany’s, and analyzed the financial development in Netflix.
We run lunch workouts every second Friday, except the last week of July and the week around Christmas. We always start at 13:10 CET and end at 13:50. All members get an invitation via e-mail a few days before the workout. In the invitation we inform you about what we will practice on and what you need to prepare.
No, we don’t work out the last week of July and the week around Christmas or when a Friday happens to be a public holiday in Sweden. Besides that we work out all year around.
We run core training the second Thursday every even numbered month (February, April, June, August, October, December). We always start at 13:00 CET and end at 16:30. It is an intensive work-out dedicated to one of six muscle groups at a time. The six muscle groups have been selected by us and our choice reflects where you need to be strong to make sound business decisions. The following themes will be given one core training each:

- Simulating how sensitive profit is to changes in price, volume and cost structure
- Evaluating possibilities and risks with growth

The core trainings are digital, live and interactive. Our award-winning training concepts make sure that you maximize your financial strength.
Yes, the core trainings and the lunch workouts are recorded. The recordings are available for streaming until the next training. For reasons of integrity the recordings do not include any member’s face. For the same reason we have also cut breakout discussions. The links to the recordings are distributed after each training to those members that did receive an invitation to the training.
You need a computer, a tablet or a smart phone equipped with a headset and a camera as well as a stable internet conncection. On your computer you need to install the ‘Zoom client’ software. On your laptop or smart phone you need the app ‘Zoom Cloud Meetings’.
